Hg conducted geotechnical construction inspections for the Missouri River bridge, including drilled shaft inspections on the north and south approaches, flyovers, and river bents. Bore logs were compared with field data collected during drilling to verify that shaft depths aligned with the design engineer’s specifications. Shaft locations, subsurface conditions, and strata depths were logged, with any design deviations addressed promptly. Additionally, the team oversaw concrete placement for the drilled shafts, ensuring proper techniques were used, including free-fall, tremie, and wet or dry applications.
