A critical commercial corridor in Waldo, Kansas, this project is designed to improve access and traffic flow, provide enhanced pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, and improve safety. It involved extensive reconstruction, including a newly constructed roadway, trolley track trail extension from 74th to 75th Street, parking lot modifications at 75th and Wornall Rd., pedestrian facilities, interconnected signals, enhanced green infrastructure, a new sidewalk along 79th Street, new LED streetlights, and a water main replacement on Wornall Road from 75th to 77th Street.
