Mr. Castor, P.E., joined Hg Consult in October 2017. He previously worked as a Project Manager for Tetra Tech’s transportation group and successfully served a variety of clients including departments of transportation, municipalities, counties, and the federal government. He specializes in roadway, drainage, and traffic control design. Mr. Castor was responsible for the civil design of the APWA award winning Vermont Avenue Bridge over Rock Creek for the City of Independence, where his responsibilities included roadway design, storm drainage, waterline and sanitary sewer relocation, and traffic control. Mr. Castor was previously employed by the Missouri Department of Transportation and represented his district on the statewide Hydrology and Hydraulics Quality Circle committee serving as the district’s expert for hydraulic design issues.

He graduated from the Missouri S&T with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1998.
